dog training behavior modification western washington

Kim helped me so much with my dog Skye especially in two situations.

First, Skye was difficult to walk with pulling (he was a strong dog) and would go nuts, barking and lunging at dogs we would encounter during a walk. Each was was incredibly stressful. After just one walk, she had Skye relaxed and walking properly beside her and much less responsive to other dogs. She then showed me the proper technique and attitude to attain the same success.

The second was Skye’s barking at other dogs while riding in the car. He would do so loudly and suddenly and it was incredibly annoying and stressful. I tried tricks like blindfolds and muzzles with no success. Her solution was to train him to just lay down in the car (he used to ride in the back of the SUV). Once he did that, all barking stopped and rides were more relaxed and safer. There are many more instances, but these were the two most momorable.
